In this session, participants will learn strategies we used in the development and implementation of a two-year professional development project to help teachers incorporate problem-based learning strategies and Hummingbird Robotics into Grades 5-12 classrooms. We will share details about the Hummingbird Robotics, its functions and components, and how it can be used across disciplines to integrate coding into the classroom and create engaging lessons for students to be creative, innovative, and engaged in their learning. We will share lesson plans developed from this project, as well as additional ITTIP resources for implementation.
