If a picture is worth a thousand words, a map can speak volumes. In this session we'll explore some examples of how you can use Google's mapping resources - including Maps, My Maps, Earth, Street View and more - as a platform for creative student projects and dynamic teacher presentations. And not just for studying geography! Maps can be used (mixed with images and video) to help students visualize and learn literature, history, science, art, and more. Most of these activities will work well on any device so feel free to bring your tablet or smartphone.
